My Start in the Real Estate Business
I’ve always been a self-starter, motivated and passionate about my work. Above all, I enjoy forming relationships and helping others which led me to Real Estate. The Minnesota Real Estate Team was a perfect fit for me because they have a dominant presence in the Twin Cities market and provide the tools to succeed in a competitive industry.
Experience
The following experiences have led me to be successful in real estate:
- Property Management: Full time property manager for a large 73-unit rental complex. This position gave me the skills to drive negotiations, understand the rental/investment aspect of our business and manage finances.
- Construction: I’ve inherited cabinetry, framing and finishing skills from my father and these skills have enabled me to point out potential problems that could arise in each home. It pays to have a trained eye to view each property, inside and out. Is that new kitchen installed really worth the extra money? Is this home structurally sound? Are there issues with electrical or plumbing?
- Landscaping: For 7 years, I managed a landscaping crew with jobs ranging from simple grading issues to complex retaining walls and patio construction. These experiences have given me the ability to show clients the potential of any backyard and solve existing issues such as potential flooding, erosion or poor landscape design.
My experiences around the home and the real estate business have propelled me beyond just being an agent. I deliver advice, expertise, and knowledge beyond my years to ensure your transaction goes smoothly whether you are buying, selling, or investing.

Interests
When I am not working with buyers, sellers, or investors I like to spend time with my wife Kaitin, friends, and family. My wife and I met each other while attending the University of Minnesota. Both of us like to spend time renovating our home, sampling new restaurants, and watching movies. I also enjoy participating in a number of winter and summer sports, including broomball and softball.
