In the Twin Cities, we take cultural celebrations seriously, so whether you’re Irish or not, celebrate this St. Patrick’s Day in the Twin Cities with parades and parties! There’s lots to do and a lot of places to go, so we’ve put together the ultimate list of best places for St Patrick’s Day in Minneapolis for 2017. Don’t forget to wear green!

St. Patrick’s Day at Brits Pub | 1110 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis

11AM – 11PM

March Madness, Corned beef and cabbage specials, bagpipers, happy hour and a parade are all staples of St. Patrick’s Day and you can find them all at Brits Pub in Minneapolis. Their saying is “It’s always a good day at the pub” and holiday or not, we couldn’t agree more.

Get Lucky Half Marathon | CHS Field, 360 N Broadway St, St Paul

March 11, 2017 | 9AM

If you enjoy balance in life, you may want to exercise before celebrating with an Irish beer. The Get Lucky Marathon starts at 9AM at CHS Field.

Fan Skate | Target Center, 600 1st Ave N, Minneapolis

March 16, 2017 | 7PM – 8:30PM

FREE and hosted by NCHC. Doors open at 6:30PM. Skate rentals are available for purchase.

St. Patrick’s Day at Kieran’s | 85 6th Street North, Minneapolis

March 17, 2017 | 10AM – 2AM

If you like live music, high energy bands, bag pipes, hockey and food trucks then head to Kieran’s Irish Pub. Celebrating 23 years of St. Patrick’s Day parties, they will be joined by bands like Stirring Ashes, Sweet Colleens and Broken Spoke in addition to Zero Gravity Entertainment DJ Jeff Rogers. In addition to great music, food trucks and hockey themed fun will be available from 1PM to 6PM for the NCHC Frozen Face Off Fun Fest right outside the door. You can also be entertained by both the Minnesota Police Pipe Band and the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Minneapolis

March 17, 2017 | 7:30PM

The parade route will be reversed this year running North to South starting at South 6th Street and ending at South 11th Street. Cost is $25 for families and non profit groups.
